i learned all i know from watching wrestling

as usual i've lots of things happening in life, lots of travelling around going to university interviews, lots of college work i haven't done, lots of people i must get around to seeing. i really want to do everything, but i love sleep and laziness too much!
ezxrctvygubhinj. it'll all get done eventually, i'm sure.
i am happy, i usually am, but right now i'm more happy than usual, despite the amount of stress i should be feeling from the amount of work i've got to get done. so thanks. :)
i am doing a drawing and trying to write a song, need to keep both sides of my brain active or else i might chemically freeze to death. maybe (probably) i'll post the fruits up on here.
valentines day shall be spent in london learning about super 8 and making a film. this is great news, but crappy that it's on valentines day. but in the late eve' i will rush back home to be overly romantic to some girl i like ;D
valentines day is a much argued about day, many people choosing not to celebrate it because 'you should be nice every day' or 'the card companies are just after more money'. Well, these statements are both true, but do they stand up against the sheer fact that a tradition is alive, or that this day can be used to do something that wouldn't be possible everyday, like ...something really special? And the fact that it's all arranged for one day, knowing that all around the world there are many couples being cute and stuff, it's quite sweet. to counter, why not do something really special on another day of the year? why is 14th feb necessary for this? well, no reason really. is the fact there is no reason fuelling the pro-side or the cons-side? obviously there are many back and forth arguments and i could go on forever, so, what do you think? comment if you want :)
from a personal point of view, i won't be boycotting valentine's day. well, i will be on my own (technically just with people i've never met before) in london until half 5. but i will try my best to see my girl after it for the remaining hours. no, i won't be buying hallmark cards, won't be buying tesco flowers, but i will try to show my love with something from the heart. maybe the film i make earlier in the day will be for her. maybe i'll write a song? who knows, i don't want to ruin it on a blog because i know she reads it. so long as what i do is from the heart and not fuelling the madly hungry/capitalist industries that use a traditional romantic day, and try and turn it into a tacky superficial money-fuck, then i'll be safe in the knowledge that valentines day isn't so tacky and superficial as i used to think, because i'm the one who has the power to make my day what i want it to be, not card companies.
i have nothing to do tomorrow but i'd like to do something, so if anyone wants to, contact. if not i'll just have to finish my drawing and song and work.
kind of a disappointing blog really eh? i'll be sure to be more interesting/funny/pictures/music/drawings next time don't worry.
